Maurice Gourd has worked on broadcast television programmes since 1975. Mainly with Thames TV but he has also worked for the BBC, GMTV, QVC & CCT (House of Commons & Lords TV).
He has worked on over thirty different TV programmes including commercials, promotions, 'This Week' and The State Opening of Parliament.
As a Technical Director for QVC (The Shopping Channel) he has covered most types of demonstrations of products.
His camera training , BBC type lighting training and studio experience does enable him to light and set up a sound PA system for shooting your video.
Recent recordings include a one and a half hour show for the Salvation Army, a one hour show for Cruse and weddings using the Panasonic Broadcast range of Cameras.
The feature film editing experience and Kodak grading training enables him to edit your material to a very high standard using good quality software.
Maurice is registered with the Engineering Council as an Incorporated Engineer and a member of The Institution of Engineering & Technology. He is a member of the Society of Television Lighting Directors, is qualified to PAT Test and is Health and Safety trained.
Public liability insurance is also carried by him.
